What are the differences between Medicare Supplements and Medicare Advantage?
Medicare Advantage is a very popular type of Medicare plan that bundles your Part A, B, and D together. MA or Medicare Advantage plans are known as Part C.
Most Medicare Advantage plans have zero premium and bundle your dental, vision, hearing, and prescription coverage all into one plan, eliminating the need to have multiple policies.
Medicare Advantage plans also offer additional benefits such as gym memberships, fitness reimbursements, mental health coverage, and many others.
Medicare Supplements are purchased in addition to your Part A and Part B of Medicare. Supplements allow you see any doctor regardless of networks and cover most of your medical expenses. These have a monthly premium. It is recommended that you join a Prescription Drug plan (Part D) in addition to the supplement. Typically, if you want dental, vision, or hearing coverage, you would need to purchase those separately as well. We offer a wide variety of plans for each of those should you need them.
